Has anyone tried to put the newnham jaws onto an electric motor with
foot controlled variable speed? Maybe using the motor from a toy sewing
machine? I envisage the jaw would be upright so that gravity aids in
holding the bobbin centred.
If it has been done, would love to find out more - design plans,.
photos, tips.
