Hello Linda, since more than 300 years exist lace-fans, bobbin- as well as needle-lace, all folded correctly. Why do you get the impression it wouldn't do. Have you never seen a lace-fan in origin how fine, for example, the Chantilly-lace is? If you have the chance to come to Germany in summertime try to visit Munich. There will be a fan exhibition and I am sure with lace-fans too. This museum has wonderful ones. Or visit me and I'll show you mine.
