Wow!  After reading these horror stories, I feel doubly blessed to have had
such 
a good teacher.  


There were supposed to be two of us in the class,
but the other woman dropped 
out due to having to work.  So I got the benefit
of having a one-on-one 
experience.  My teacher, Lynn Swedenborg, was in the
middle of chemo treatments, 
and didn't always feel good, but she was always
patient.  Sad thing is she died 
of uterine cancer shortly after I finished my
last lesson.  It amazed me how, 
after not working on lace for over 10 years,
I still retained most of what she 
taught me.
