Here are the results of the London auction for the 3 items I highlighted to _Lace@Arachne_ (mailto:Lace@Arachne) the other day. 1. Audrey Hepburn's Edith Head-designed ivory lace gown from "Roman Holiday", 1952, but also adapted and worn to collect her Oscar for the same film in 1954, sold for 84-thousand British pounds: 2. Replica by Emanuel (original designers) of H.R.H. Princess Diana's bridal gown and related accessories, 1981, sold for 48-thousand British pounds. 3. The duplicate bridal shoes (with some Nottingham lace features), designed and made by Clive Shilton, fitted to and worn by Princess Diana, 1981, sold for 36-thousand British pounds. Originally, 2 pairs were made, and she chose which left and which right felt best on her wedding day.
