Thank you all for your postings. I've got crochet hooks from the 1.25mm I mentioned in the post down to a 0.35mm Japanese hook a friend got for me in Bruges to help with Honiton sewings. I'll look out for threads at Solihull and share your wisdom with a crafter friend of mine who's also returning to crochet.
