A friend (Sharon H) thought of and and now we both use 'Notebook Rings" from the office supply store/section.These are hinged rings that are 'meant' to be used with hole punched paper. They are also used in one 'brand' of thread sort & store system here in the USA. They come in different sizes and the larger ones hold several pair of bobbins.
