I have a couple of crochet hooks with wooden handles, one being an Arachne commemorative available a number of years ago. I like to use them but when working with finer threads I use a couple of hooks that became bent near the ends and they work well. The etsy ones are a bit out of my price range but are pretty to look at. Given that kind of money, I would rather buy a book.
