The 2 pin rose ground I am used to will have pins at number 3 & 6 in the layout below:
1 3 2 4 5 7 6 8 Stitches are worked at all numbers, but pins are placed only at 3 & 6. It is up to you which stitch you work at which number - ct, ctc or ctct Each stich will produce a roseground with a different appearance.
