I'd been wondering if anyone had seen the article. It's a pity about the mistakes and the crochet masquerading as bobbin lace but I wasn't given an opportunity to check anything. For me it's interesting to see what's been picked out of an hour long telephone interview and an equally long photo session. The photographer took a lot of pictures of my pillow and bobbins so I'd expected to see more of them rather than just one small picture. In the interview I was asked what advice I would give to someone wanting to try lacemaking and that's got lost too. (My answer was find a lace class or group - if they're in the UK they could ask The Lace Guild. The interviewer was keen on the idea that lacemaking was a social activity.)
