Hi Spiders,

Just a little snippet I felt I ought to share!

The Stalham Lace Circle is again decorating a tree for the Stalham Christmas
Tree Festival, and have decided (yes! I know we are definitely ahead of
ourselves....) on angels and candles.    Knowing that I procrastinate, I have
already started a candle, and was musing aloud at the Lace meeting yesterday as
to what to use if it needed stiffening.   Apparently, several of the members
there had, some time ago, bought large cans of a floor polish called 'Klear',
which they said was ideal!     Now - when I was newly married in the 1960s, we
had black Marley tiles, and I know I used that on the tiles - a brilliant
shine, but non-slip.   Brilliant as it was for floors, I have my doubts as to
the wisdom of using it on my lace, so think I will use the tried and tested
'ordinary' methods.

But I am sure it has given you all a wry smile, but probably Jeri is having a
nervous breakdown as we speak ...

Best wishes to you all,

Carol, in North Norfolk, UK
