That's what made me order my Binche Kompact pattern: seeing it on someone's blog. Sadly some ink is fading before I've finished the pattern. OK more than four years is quite some time to work on it. Then again I have trouble finding a printing service that would make a cheaper copy for a friend than ordering a copy at the DKV.
I also once bought a few copies of the Lace Express but can't remember I ever made a pattern out of it. So I prefer single patterns rather than magazines or books.
