Pardon, I didn't realize we were specifically discussing contemporary examples. I was interested in the overall debate. Of course, lots of lace is made in color, I myself enjoy making bobbin and needle lace in color as well - although I love white too! I love it all, honestly, no matter what one wants to call it. :)
