But I didn't phrase that very well . . . I guess I don't know what that's
called in bobbin lace.

I meant that the dragon in my picture is supported by the lace around him
and surrounded by a frame made of lace.

The Jourde dragon's edges are the edges of the dragon himself. . . if that
makes any sense.
