There is a clip similiar to what Clay references that is sold at Radio Shack -
2 in a package for less than $5. They are easier for my arthritic fingers to
use than the fish tackle ones that require pressure to open. The Radio Shack
ones, used with tiny electrical wires, use a push on the end to open. A plunger
cap from an insulin syringe fits on the end and gives me more "power for the
push" with arthritic fingers.

I used surgical hemostats before this "wire clip" was discovered and still find
them invaluable in lacemaking. Nurses can find more uses for "tools of the
Medical trade" than one can find for Duct Tape. Surgical Adhesive was before
Duct Tape...

Happy Lacemaking,
Betty Ann Rice in Roanoke, Virginia who is looking forward with great
anticipation to "Lace At Sweet Briar."
