I used Stiffy on a BL roundel that became angel wings for a Christmas angel ornament (in a kit from a lace supplier). The lace was handmade but not exceptional, ok for angel wings. I like better the shaped bobbin lace wings that I saw on another angel where the stiffening was a discreet wire gimp around the outside.
