I just remembered... failing memory you know, or was it just a 'blond'
moment...
I was shown a light which has led's and a magnifier this afternoon. I
didn't see it working but it looked quite good. No I haven't bought
one. I don't need the light, just the magnifier sometimes, but not
when wearing my reading glasses, or no glasses. Yes, I am VERY short
sighted. They are probably very useful for long sighted people, you
know those people whose arms are too short for the paper! Anyway, the
light worked with batteries, and I'd be forever replacing them,
although the lady in the shop did assure me that they can also be used
with a power adaptor, it didn't come with one but evidently one of the
all purpose ones could be plugged into it!
