I also see that there is an issue of Practical Skills in Bobbin Lace on ebay right now. I don't have the item number (I'm at work) but I found it by searching under either "lacemaker" or "lacemaking". This is an invaluable book for any bobbin lacemaker. Met with my "new" group of lacemakers last night. We connected at the convention and discovered we are only 15 miles apart. There were four of us making lace in Borders bookstore and some of the public were quite interested. I also did a demonstration on Saturday for a historical society in Franklin Grove Illinois. It was a very laid back day, not a lot of public attendance, but the weather was beautiful, I got 4 inches of a Downton edging done and the participants were very interested in the lace.
