I am making a roller pillow and would ask those of you that have made rollers what you used for filling. I am going to cut some lightweight wool fabric to roll on the dowel, but I wonder if something else can be used first, cutting down on the amount of wool fabric needed. I would think that only the last inch or so would need to be wool. Then the cover. I am planning on cotton velveteen for that. I will pad the table with a wool blanket. Should this also be used on the roller? Any hints or tips for me? Alice? Anyone? Post me off list if you like. Thank you.
