LOL, maybe there are pool noodles, and there are pool noodles ... I'm still
using the several pillows with pool noodle rollers, that I made, and
although yes I did say I use them infrequently, I do use them enough to
complete projects. For a while there was a jumbo size noodle for the pool
crowd, usually in a bright purple, and I made a chunk of one of those into a
bolster. Do a discreet test with a pin if possible, before buying. If the
cells don't self-heal, it won't be any good for lacemaking.

The length of extruded foam noodle that isn't used for a roller, is dandy
for rolling up a light quilt or linens.
