I have "the dress" on my needles right now. Knitted the Kate doll last
evening. Its not at all tricky. I was cross because the book didnt arrive
soon enough to knit from it before the wedding but happy now as the colours
can be correct and I can put a train om the dress if I can just work out the
increases in the next few minutes !!!

> David, I have this book, although I have no intention of knitting it. I like
making lace better, even though at heart I am a knitter first. I have made
Jean Greenhowe's Nativity creche 2+ times, so I am familiar with making
knitted figures. The likelihood is that the actual knitting isn't that
difficult. But sewing together all the little pieces requires much intestinal
fortitude. It's just plain tedious. But you do end up with a wonderful set. I
got the book because I love that sort of thing, at least to look at, and it
can be used with very little imagination for any wedding couple.

the whole cool but pleasant.
