Because I am from Virginia, and know that the American History Museum in Washington is a fabulous "draw", I am standing up and applauding!!! I suspect other regions have museums who enjoy comparable traffic, and if you're in one of those areas, please make note! (Or report, if you've already been doing this!).
And yes, it would be interesting to know how many people actually follow up on the interest sparked at demonstrations...but in the long run, we have to just *do* it (demonstrate), in order for the art to survive.
