Dear Karen et al,
Unfortunately, like much good works, we never really know the effects. In my situation, in the '80's, I really had no way to contact the 'Betty' who ran the demonstration at the craft show in Newnan Georgia right outside Atlanta. No internet. And all I remembered was 'Betty' which is little help, and there was nothing on the sheet she handed out about her or her last name. In the last several years I was able to add a last name and read her obituary. But that is the way of it. Rest assured that somewhere there are people who at least delved deeper when they got home, the internet being such a wonderful tool for gathering information. If I may, there is the story of healing of 10 lepers, and only one came back to thank the Healer. That is the way of it.

Lyn on vacation. No idea of the weather, although if this is winter, mild, long sleeves and sandals work, I wonder what it is like in New Orleans in the summer.

It would be wonderful knowing how many people follow up on their
enthusiasm from a demonstration. Once a month four of us demonstrate
bobbin lace and tatting for a couple hours in the American History
Museum in Washington, DC.
