For the use case of conversations/threads i always liked of a model that would put users replying to the conversation/thread id instead of @user. From my experience on jaiku, using @user can and will lead to posting to the wrong thread because of user going else where, and limiting replies to only the last reply. The prob is always HOW to identify a conversation and which symbol to user on SMS/XMPP. On the regular case of replyto links I also like the twitter model: just using @user should not link it back, unless some other command is given. -- Hi, I'm BUGabundo, and I am Ubuntu (whyubuntu.com) (``-_-´´) http://LinuxNoDEI.BUGabundo.net Linux user #443786 GPG key 1024D/A1784EBB http://BUGabundo.net
