Is it possible to somehow make script addition as an addon?

Or perhaps delete the lines pertaining to the script and publish the source
code with some blacked out spaces. If someone wants the newer code, they'll
have to buy the script and once they show proof of purchase, I can show the
modified source code.

I know its not perfect, but its the only one I can think of.
