http://www.polishmywriting.com has a nice Javascript-based spell/grammar 
checking 
solution based on TinyMCE. This is much better than our current solution, 
because 
it's more interactive and allows real editing. It's Open Source and attached to 
After the 
Deadline, so changing it to work with LT didn't seem to complicated.

It's still totally work in progress, but here's a first version:

Javascript hackers are very welcome to try it and fix the remaining bugs and add
the missing features (like language selection).

It relies on an LT instance running on our server in HTTP mode. We'll see how 
stable that is.
