Hi, Thanks, I know this already and actually the problem is with how the third dmar is configured, so: -B dmar-drhd-disable=yes Will work around the problem, however I don't want to work around the problem I want the problem fixed.
This affects *all* the new Lenovo laptops and a number of other laptops as well. As most people buy VT support as they actually need it. Its maybe more wise to fix the problem then advice people to work around your bugs. Sorry to be so blunt and I know your just trying to be helpful. However I am just getting a little ticked off with Sun's attitude of 'We will make a release note on this bug until the community fixes it for us or a year has passed and we probably should fix it now even though the hardware is now out of date.'
