Gary,

Windows drivers linked on ndis page are all from vendors, the WLAN-1450
adapter works for me on ferrari3400 laptop/dell precision 380 desktop
with ndis-1.1 and the linked XP driver.
To help debug your problem, please touch a file
/kernel/drv/bcmndis.conf, then insert one line in it:

debug-level=0xf;

Debug information will be logged to /var/adm/messages, when you begin to
attach bcmndis. (set "debug-level=0x0;" will disable debug message after
detach/attach bcmndis)
I would like to have a look into the debug messages.

If you have Windows/Solairs dual-system on your Dell laptop, please make
sure wlan module is enabled on WindowsXP system. I encountered attach
issuse on Dell D800 before, since I disabled wlan in WindowsXP , before
I attach ndiswrapper in solaris, but this is not an issue to Acer
ferrari3400 laptop.

Thanks,

Michael
