Jubril, > [laptop-discuss] Keyboard/Mouse would not work
what kind of laptop is it? does the keyboard still work when grub loads the bootmenu so you can select other boot entries and stops working when actual Solaris boots? i've had a similar issue on my laptop, which took a lot of time and help from Dan Mick to figure out, but if I have some more details, I might be able to help. also, could you, in GRUB, edit the bootline by presing 'e' and add "-v" (without quotes) at the end of the first line like this: kernel /boot/platform/i86pc/kernel/unix -v and then hit enter twice to boot and keep a sharp eye out for any messages relating to "i8042". cheers, hakim -- S.
