Hi Hakim, With open solaris snv_66 I have a similar problem. Laptop is Acer Aspire 5003wlmi. The Touchpad does not work at all.The keypad works BUT has a static/crackle noise each time a key is hit - which can not be good !
A USB Mouse attached to USB port works OK I tried also on snv_64a ( Solaris Express from the Solaris Express Developer Edition DVD ) but could not get up Desktop at all. Also tried Solaris 10 11/06 but could only get console mode text install to work ...not possible to use the GUI Installer at all on Sol 10 11/06. Any pointers or advice would be great.
