Casper had made a customized version of Xorg's mouse_drv.so
in frkit that was able to use extended features of the
synaptic trackpad, but I don't know if that's in the external
frkit or only the internal one.
There's a separate synaptics driver that some Linux distros
ship, but I believe it's Linux-only and GPL, so we've never
been able to ship it with Xorg on Solaris.
