Not sure if it matters, but you could try making the system be more verbose. Try this:
# svccfg -s system/svc/restarter:default svc:/system/svc/restarter:default> addpg options application svc:/system/svc/restarter:default> setprop options/logging = \ astring: verbose svc:/system/svc/restarter:default> exit # This definitely makes it more chatty when starting and should make it more chatty when shutting down. To reverse it, you'd reverse the addpg and addprop in the above and substitute delpg and delprop respectively. I'm running S10u1 on an old fujitsu with inetmenu 1.9 and I don't see this problem.
