I'm new to solaris... I installed it to learn something new and I'm stuck with so simple things as:
I tried to run frkit (under root) and Solaris 10 1/06 with no success... after doubleclick it asks me which program to use to open it... I tried to copy it in terminal but that didn't work neither. So, just how do I run frkit? Secondly, I tried to install batstat. First time it installed it and it worked. Later I did new install with Solaris 10 6/06 and I couldn't install it anymore (batstat not found)! I did two more new installs back to Solaris 10 1/06 and then again to Solaris 10 6/06. I couldn't run neither frkit nor the batstat. Any help on stupid? If it doesn't work with Solaris 10 1/06 and 6/06 how it comes it worked once??? How do I get it runing? And last: how do I install gkrellm-2.2.7-battery.gz (binary)? Please help... Laptop without some kind of battery control is just useless.... This message posted from opensolaris.org
