Hello, I have just installed the community release of Solaris on a Toshiba laptop with a Atheros wireless card. The installation associated ath0 with the pci address and I can use wificonfig to scan for available access points. The only problem is that it only returns the neighbors Netgear 802.11G access point. It does not see my Linksys 802.11B access point.
My windows based laptop sees both and will connect to both. The Solaris box will get an ip address etc from the Netgear AP but for some reason I am unable to get out on the Internet. Is is possible that the Atheros driver only talks 802.11G? Further, is it possible that some of the configuration setting for the lan card (rtls0) are causing some type of conflict? Thanks Chris
