Any suggestions for where I should go for help with m64 on build 40? Probably I should try OpenSolaris, but I can take some screen shots, etc. (I have some framebuffer knowledge lately, as I recently wrote a radeonfb framebuffer driver for NetBSD. I might be able to help debug this myself, though I know next to nothing about X11 internals.) For now I'll turn dtlogin off. (FWIW, this is a laptop with an m64 controller in it. I don't know yet whether the m64 is driving TMDS or using an analog output -- I have to check our sources to find out. But stock Solaris 8 works fine on this machine -- it basically looks like a vanilla Ultra 10 with some extras attached -- Sbus PCMCIA controller, and some custom power control hardware. -- Garrett D'Amore, Principal Software Engineer Tadpole Computer / Computing Technologies Division, General Dynamics C4 Systems http://www.tadpolecomputer.com/ Phone: 951 325-2134 Fax: 951 325-2191
