I bought a MacBook with distant hopes it would run Sol 10 after the firmware upgrade. It won't even recognize the bootloader from either CD or DVD. It did however boot from Ubuntu Linux fine though it has X config problems. Since I need Solaris that point is mute though.
At least since its booting from Linux at least there's a bit of hope one day it will boot Solaris but in any case I'm going down the virtual path with Parallels virtual for OS X. This message posted from opensolaris.org
