I was able to compile the ndis and ndisapi on my laptop.Now ndis is working
fine ans it can now scan the WLAN.How to get it configured?I tried it using
wificonfig , but no luck.I have got DSL wireless router running DHCP,I am
wondering how to get the IP address netmask,broadcast and default router
settings for bcmndis0 (wireless interface).
I tried to use ifconfig command as follows
ifconfig bcmndis0 plumb
(fine I can see the wifi LED blinking)
ifconfig bcmndis0 inet 10.0.0.3 netmask + brotadcast + up
route add default 10.0.0.138 1 (which is the IP address of my DSL router).
Somehow laptop is not connecting to wireless at home , then I bring my laptop
to office just to verifyif it works or doesn't work
#wificonfig -i bcmndis0 showstatus

My question is why I am encountering problem with my laptop can't connect at
home.
