I think nwam always assumes wifi is in "enterprise mode" and asks for a user name. There's an attachment at bug 4677, nwam-manager.gz, that you use to replace /usr/lib/nwam-manager, and that is supposed to fix it. I'll try it tonight (Monday Nov. 10) and see if it works for me.
