Todd, while I sympathise with your situation, you're not running OpenSolaris, but Solaris 10. I'd advise you to go through your regular support channel(s) to get the right answer from the people trained to work these kind of issues. Besides: laptop-discuss wouldn't be the proper alias even if you were running OpenSolaris.
