And you know sugar buns, Sun is filled with faliable humans - and things call fall through the cracks, no matter how perfect the system may be. > I have looked at forums such as this one as a source of help. Yes, this is an laptop discussion group; I don't even know why the person originally posted here knowing full well that his issue had nothing to do what so ever with laptops - his was a Solaris issue relating to the commercial product being sold by Sun and supported by Sun - therefore, he shouldn't be a cheapskate expecting 24/7 instant support from an online mailing list with volunteers. Yes you do have a gross missunderstanding of what a forum is, this is a mailing list for volunteers to help each other out; if your issue is a matter of life, death and losing money - then again, I say, don't be such a cheap skate and purchase the support that you need instead of expecting volunteers to be at your beakening call. > Since a lot of what is released in Solaris 10 Update 5 comes from > opensolaris I would think someone on these forums would have a clue. Then you need to do some reading. Again, we aren't paid to help you; any help you do receive on this list, you should be thanking your lucky stars. > Maybe you should take your problems with Solaris 10 to Microsoft > support. Or maybe he shouldn't be so cheap expecting the 'community' to support him at the drop of a hat. Matthew
