All,

I found the RealTek wireless driver link at

http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/rtw/

This "rtw" driver also appears to already be in SXDE Build 72 which I
installed on a new Gateway MT3423 laptop.

The rtw web page states it is for the RealTek 8180 802.11b chipset.
But my laptop has the "RealTek 8185 Extensible 802.11b/g" . (so close)

I tried to plumb rtw0 but it didn't find the interface.
dladm -show-dev only finds the nge0 wired port.

Is the rtw driver version at the opensolaris site different from what I
find in SXDE build 72?

Any chance of getting this working?

Side note: the laptop has the SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC.
Sound is not working with SXDE 72. Any pointers to audio setup?

thanks,
Chris
