I have now managed to boot but there is something strange: if I install all 6 CD's worth of software I get the hang BUT if I install only the first 4 CD's it boots OK. Can someone tell me how installing more packages would mess up the boot process, i.e. at 'Configuring devices'?
At any rate, 256 MB is definitely not enough RAM to run this thing, so I
will have to upgrade at some point. Thanks for any feedback.
