DRI support, including AIGLX, for Intel chipsets is in Solaris, and compiz
has been used by a number of people on Intel chipsets.   I helped give a
demo last summer at a user group meeting with compiz on a i945 laptop.

I didn't think anyone really used Xgl anymore.
