Next year ASUS will increase the screen size of EeePCs from 7" to 8.9":

Nokia N800 only has a 4.1" screen but with a better 800 x 400 resolution. I expect to see the screen resolution of EeePC to be substantially improved. Asus expects to sell 5 million EeePCs in 2008. At an average selling price of $400 per unit, this represents a ~$2B business. What this (i.e., the $$$) implies is that the Linux (Debian) desktops may finally find the big daddy that it's always been lacking. This message posted from opensolaris.org
