Vincent,

I'm at work with the T43p in the dock. I plugged in
the Intel Cardbus PRO/100 SR Mobile Adapter
(MBLA3456 C3). Nothing seems to happen and
prtconf -D shows nothing for the slots in the dock,
either before or after running devfsadm. So I
plugged in the known to work IEEE 1394 card into
the bottom slot in the dock and the card insertion
is not detected nor the card recognized after running
devfsadm.

There are no entries in /var/adm/messages after
hot plugging the Ethernet card and then the 1394
card. However, when I plug the 1394 card into
the slot in the notebook, lots of stuff is written
to the file and the hci1394 driver is shown as
loaded for the device in prtconf -D. I can't plug
the Ethernet card into the notebook slot as it
requires a double height slot (it has a TP socket
in the end of the card).

Does the new Cardbus driver work for more than 2
Cardbus slots or with slots in a dock?

The slots in the dock were available with the Lynnsoft
Cardbus drivers with Solaris 10 and the old ddi setup.
However, the Lynnsoft drivers fail with the new ddi
in Express or in later versions of the Solaris 10 kernel
patch.
