Have you downloaded/installed the "acpidrv" driver?
In Solaris nv Acpi is enabled but no Thermal zone handling is
done. The "acpidrv" driver does a poor attempt at some thermal
zone handling. (check laptop community downloads)
Alternatively, you can try to boot with Acpi disabled which would cause
the BIOS to do the Thermal zone handling.
(acpi-user-options=0x8)
I'm interested in feedback on all of the possible attempted solutions.
