Hi all, Does anybody have an experience of installing OpenSolaris on HP nx6110 laptop. I tried with sol-nv-b28-x86-v1-iso.
First, there were problems with installer, it buzzed on different stages. But finally I succeeded and installed 'core' system. But now it buzzes after some time of working. I have a suspicion that?s owing to overheating. Installer worked out only when laptop was "cold", e.g. it didn?t work a whole night. And I can hear that laptop's fan stops working while Solaris is booting. Do I need to use a special driver for this thing to work correct? Thanks in advance. This message posted from opensolaris.org
