That's relative to how much you need bluetooth, dbus enabled volume 
management, and a more intuitive and less buggy desktop experience.  
Sorry, Solaris 10 still remains a remnant of the old Sun ways, it is not 
made for desktops, let alone portables, it works fine on their systems 
though.  xVM, Bluetooth, wireless drivers, WWAN, security & kernel 
enhancements are what you miss out on by using regular Solaris.  
Stability wise I have zero problems with either SXDE or SXCE, amazing 
considering they are beta/alpha software.  Regular Solaris is fine for 
servers, it's just next to useless for portables unless you've been 
living under a rock.
