I assume Open Solaris is equal to Solaris 10, which I have downloaded and installed successfully on an Acer 5580 laptop. At this point, I find it a waste, as it is not able to access the Internet either through the ethernet or wireless (Intel 3845). It appears that programs that can be downloaded to help are Catch 22, as I can't download them into the Solaris side of the machine. What can I do to try to make it worthwhile to use? Thanks you.
