The problem with the Ferrari 4000 is that the BIOS has a bug which windows ignores but ACPICA does not; you'll see "Z00I" undefined messages and if you look at the AML you'll find that in order to compute the charge ACPI needs to evaluae Z00I. This is not fixed in any recent BIOS. Casper
