I can not help you with the permissions, but something else to try if you have not already re-installed. I had opensolaris, up to build 126, running just the way i wanted it on a NB205 all except one thing. That was a verizon usb aircard. Almost had it working, but didn't have the patience to keep at it. Put another free OS on the machine.
Anyway, mouse or touchpad would not wake the computer, but pressing the space bar would. Had the same thing going on with one of my hp desktops. Mouse nothing, space bar good. Worth a shot to see if that works. Bryan -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
